| UK Submissions to the UNFCCC | |
|
The UK submits reports to the UNFCCC by 15th April each year, providing finalised UK GHG emissions data. The annual submissions to the UNFCCC comprise a National Inventory Report (NIR) and tables of GHG emissions data presented by source sector in Common Reporting Format (CRF) tables. In addition, every few years the UK submits a National Communication (NC) document that provides a summary of UK action to address climate change issues, including commentary regarding progress towards emission reduction targets.
